As from the 25th May, 2018 regulations to Data Protection are changing and we as a company would like to provide you with a copy of our Privacy Notice.

Who are Clough & Co?

Clough & Co are Agricultural, Residential and Commercial Auctioneers based in Denbigh, North Wales.  Our services also include valuations, surveys, and property and land lettings and sales. This Privacy Notice explains how we may collect, use, process, share and store personal information about you and the choices that are available to you as regards this information.  Please read this Privacy Notice carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when we provide you with a service.  This could include name, address, e-mail address and phone number, but may also include further information such as bank details and date of birth.   We will only collect the information that we need to carry out our service.  To comply with Anti Money-Laundering legislation we may also hold copies of passports and other identifying documents on file.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you so that we can provide a service to you.  The information will be used to prepare letters, contracts and any other necessary documents such as invoices and statements, and also to contact you when necessary.

Marketing

Should you wish to be placed on our mailing list to receive details of properties for sale or to let, we will keep your details for a maximum of 12 months after which we will delete your details unless you re-apply to be placed on the list.  We use a third-party provider, Wufoo, for our online property mailing list forms and their privacy notice can be seen at www.wufoo.com.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact us (see How to contact us, below).  We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

Sharing your information

It may be necessary to share information with third parties such as banks, solicitors, credit reference agencies and contractors.  We will only share with them the information that they need to fulfil their duties.  Also, if it is necessary to engage the services of a debt-collecting company we will share your details with them to enable them to carry out their work.  Sometimes we may have a legal obligation to pass on your details, for example to a law enforcement agency or regulator, or with companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
